Our Team

Abdulghaniy Kayode Otukogbe is the founding editor of NaijaEdutalk, he is an educator with keen interest on issues that relate to social justice. He has a BSc. in Estate Management from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun state in Nigeria, a Postgraduate Certificate (PGCE) in lifelong learning and an MA in Education and Youth Work Studies from the University of Huddersfield, and an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University. He is a member of British Education Research Association (BERA) and Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL) in the UK.

He has experience as a: Tutor with disengaged students, Teaching Assistant and Learner Mentor with learners with severe learning disabilities and difficulties, and as an Examination Invigilator in the UK; from Key Stage 1 (KS1) to post 16 level. He has interests in: alternative learning provisions, Special educational needs and disability (SEND), social policy, reading, use of photography in Education, sociology and philosophy of education, curriculum studies, and learning and assessment theories.

Hammed Alao is the founding Web Administrator of NaijaEduTalk. He has BSc Agric Engineering, BA Islamic Studies and Diploma IT (In view). He is currently the HoD IT in a secondary school and also teaches Mathematics. He is a Moodle Administrator, an ICT learning facilitator, and a graphic and web designer. He enjoys working with children and sees education as the main means of driving positive changes in society.

Lateefah Olayiwola Adebayo is the founding Assistant Editor of NaijaEduTalk. She has a BSc (Ed) Biology. She has about two decades of teaching experience, both as a volunteer and qualified teacher. She teaches at the primary school level and presently homeschool her children. Apart from teaching, she likes to create things using papers and likes weaving, reading, writing and travelling. She is happily married with three lovely kids.
